New e-learning portal for Norwegian authorities

National ID-Center

The website NIDSenter.no is the primary communication channel for the National ID Center in Norway and is used by entities such as the Police and the Immigration Administration for eLearning, information retrieval, and look-ups.

The portal needed a re-establishment, and twoday has contributed to its execution.

Process

In this re-establishment, there was a technical upgrade from an older version of EpiServer CMS to the latest version. At the same time, a new interaction design and content structure were established. The website now complies with public requirements for universal design, is adapted for mobile devices, and is established with cloud services in Microsoft Azure.

twoday has been responsible for all parts of the re-establishment project; from concept development and interaction design to development, testing, and the deployment of the solution. We are the total provider for the portal and are responsible for further development, management, and operation.

The work on further development, management, and operation of the portal is organized through a dedicated maintenance team. The team works closely with the client's representatives to ensure ongoing development, necessary technical upgrades, and new functionality.

Result Through good application management routines, twoday has ensured efficient and secure management and further development of the portal. Collaboration with engaged and highly competent client representatives has been a success factor ensuring the effective use of the portal. The transfer of environments and cloud-based services has significantly streamlined operations, leading to rapid and efficient publishing of new versions.
