This summer, we are excited to welcome four dynamic interns who will be joining our Business Intelligence (BI) team in Lithuania. From June 3rd to July 26th, these talented individuals will work closely with our tech mentors, gaining invaluable experience and contributing to our projects.
Our first international internship
This marks a significant milestone for us as we broaden our horizons and embrace global talent with our inaugural international internship. From Vilnius, Aurimas and Egidijus bring their expertise and fresh perspectives to our BI projects. Joining them are Teemu from Jyväskylä and Jade from Tampere, representing Finland and bringing their enthusiasm and skills to Vilnius for two months.
Internship agenda
Our BI internship program for the summer offers a hands-on experience across diverse facets of data management and business intelligence. The interns will kick off with an orientation and preparation day, ensuring they're equipped with the tools and knowledge needed for their projects.
Over the next nine days, they'll dive into initial data loading, covering tasks like table creation, SQL utilization, Azure training, and understanding Data Vault methodologies. They'll also delve into data cleansing techniques to ensure data accuracy.
The following 26 days will focus on data warehouse preparation, and data loading. They'll leverage Azure Data Factory for error handling and effective data cleansing, with workshops on Fabric and related topics.
In the final phase, interns will dedicate five days to crafting comprehensive reports using Power BI, followed by two days of preparation for their final presentations. These presentations will showcase their solutions, illustrating their journey from data warehousing to insightful Power BI reporting.
