Recently, we had the delight of listening to insights from our skilled team member, Jonas Angermund. Jonas, a versatile UI/UX designer with expertise in frontend design, visual identity, and storytelling, took the floor on this special occasion. He generously shared his knowledge about AI Art, and the world of Comfy UI.
This enriching session was part of our skills-enhancing forum known as Flash Talks - a casual platform where we dig into exciting topics that capture our interest as professionals.
Jonas helped us through the installation process and demonstrated how to seamlessly navigate from the command prompt to generate a fully realized AI image, manipulating various nodes, essentially building the tool from scratch.
We started out learning about Stable Diffusion, an AI model using a text encoder, open-source easy and fast! Then moving on to the node based interface for Stable Diffusion which is Comfy UI.
As tech heavy it all may be using Comfy UI, Jonas also pointed out that the beauty of ComfyUI is that understanding is optional. You can install, push buttons and make cool imagery, saving the techy stuff for later.
We love throwing ourselves into creative new ventures, not only to apply them in our professional pursuits but also for the sheer joy they bring!
